but Jennifer determined to fight for her life and also take care of her 5 year old son picked up the job of a house help working from one house to another but the moment her employers find out she is sick they relieve her, she has worked as helps even in her pains
Jennifer had to work to sustain herself and her son, she kept on going in spite of the pains, hurt and rejection she keeps getting from people. Her son Kefas Benjamin Yusuf had stop going to school because she couldn’t afford to pay his fees. In the course of her hustle she met Adaora Ukoh a Nollywood actress who employed her as a help, Adaora noticed she was in pains all the time and asked her what was wrong with her, at first she didn’t want to open up as she feared she was going to lose her job again but Adaora pressured her found out she had possible stage 3 cancer of the breast at that young age and had been working with it.. Jennifer left as Adora gave her money to go cancer clinic, placed a call that same night to Chioma Okoye a Nollywood actress/ producer, asked how they could help, Chioma suggested they do a fund raising campaign as the two of them can’t raise enough money for Jennifer’s treatment. When Jennifer dint show up she called Chioma only for her to find out she ran to village all because of Lack of funds which is why her cancer got to this level Chioma found Jennifer, she made a lot of calls here in contact with the AMP chairperson of Benue state Madam Roseya whom she sponsored to Jennifer’s village, on getting to OJU Jennifer’s village madam Roseya found

In conclusion: breast cancer treatment and management is a big challenge in Nigeria largely due to limited resources, it is high time our government focus on this threat to Women young Women also by providing the necessary funds that will make the establishment of screening centers nationwide a priority. On our part as citizens, I am appealing to us all, call your sisters, mothers, cousins, aunties, nieces, friends on this Breast Cancer awareness month and asked them if they have been screened for Breast Cancer, you might have saved a life and contributed your own part as we can try to defeat “this biggest killer of Nigerian women”. Women go for breast screening today, EARLY DETECTION IS THE BEST CURE.
